How do I create an account?

You can sign up using your Apple ID or email address. Simply download the app and tap "Sign Up" to get started.

Is Memeory free to use?

Yes! Memeory is completely free to download and use with no in-app purchases. To keep things fair for everyone, we have daily limits: 5 Studio uses, 5 personalized recommendations, and 10 meme submissions per day. You can earn bonus uses through various activities in the app - and these bonuses are interconnected, so engaging with one feature can unlock extras across the board!

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the Settings menu within the app. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is permanent and will remove all your data.

My memes aren't loading. What should I do?

Try these steps: 1) Check your internet connection, 2) Force close and reopen the app, 3) Make sure you have the latest version installed. If the problem persists, contact us.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Tap the "Report" button on any meme, provide a detailed reason (max 100 characters), and submit. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes appropriate action. You can also hide memes you don't want to see via the "Hide" button.

What is your content moderation policy?

Memeory maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content including pornographic, hateful, defamatory, or violence-promoting material. All submissions are reviewed by AI and our moderation team before approval. Content violating our terms is removed within 24 hours, and accounts repeatedly violating policies may be permanently banned.

How do I filter unwanted content?

Tap the "Hide" button on any meme to permanently remove it from your feed. Hidden memes won't appear in recommendations, discovery, or daily memes. You can view and unhide memes anytime in Settings > Privacy > Hidden Memes. When you report a meme, it's automatically hidden to prevent you from seeing it again.

How does Memeory use AI?

Memeory uses Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash AI to personalize meme recommendations based on your interaction patterns. Non-identifiable preference tags are shared with Gemini to understand your humor style. You can clear AI preferences anytime in Settings > Privacy. Your data is not used to train AI models.
