Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Memeory
• One account per person - multiple accounts may be suspended

Content Guidelines

When submitting memes to our platform, you agree that your content:

• Does not contain illegal content or promote illegal activities
• Does not include explicit sexual content or pornography
• Does not promote violence, hate speech, or discrimination
• Does not harass, bully, or target individuals
• Does not contain personal information of others without consent
• Does not infringe on copyrights or trademarks

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines and take action against accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Memeory maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding objectionable content.

Users are strictly prohibited from posting content that is pornographic, hateful, defamatory, or promotes violence. Any user found violating these terms will have their content removed within 24 hours and may face immediate account termination without prior warning.

We employ AI-driven content moderation, manual review processes, and a comprehensive reporting system to ensure community safety. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and appropriate action is taken immediately.

Moderation & Strikes

To maintain a safe and enjoyable community:

• Submitted memes are reviewed before being added to the public library
• Violations of content guidelines may result in strikes on your account
• Accumulating strikes may lead to temporary or permanent suspension
• You may dispute moderation decisions through the Feedback section
• Repeated violations will result in permanent account termination

Recommendations & Personalization

Memeory uses your interactions to personalize your experience:

• We analyze your likes, saves, and browsing patterns
• Your preferences help us recommend relevant memes
• You can clear your preference data at any time in Privacy settings
• Recommendation data is used solely to improve your experience

AI-Powered Features

Memeory uses Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash AI to power personalized recommendations:

• AI analyzes your interaction patterns (likes, favorites, sends) to understand your humor preferences
• Non-identifiable preference tags (e.g., "sarcastic", "anime") are shared with Gemini to personalize recommendations
• AI processes meme images in real-time for ranking but does not store or train on your data
• You maintain full control: Clear AI preferences anytime in Settings > Privacy
• Explicit consent is required during onboarding before AI processing begins

By using Memeory, you consent to AI-powered personalization as described above. You may opt out by clearing your preferences, though this will reset your personalized experience.

Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy:

• We collect only data necessary to provide our services
• Your email is used for account authentication and important notifications
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties
• You can export or delete your data at any time

Intellectual Property

• Memes you submit should be your own creation or properly attributed
• By submitting content, you grant Memeory a license to display and distribute it within our platform
• You retain ownership of your original content
• The Memeory app, logo, and brand are our intellectual property
